Empowering Lives Globally
My service began in the United States Air Force, where I deployed across the globe and earned commendations for my dedication. But my mission didn’t stop after my enlistment. After facing my own battles with injury, a traumatic brain injury, and post-service reintegration, I found my purpose: turning my story into action.
I proudly serve as an ambassador for Pin-Ups for Vets, uplifting veterans and breaking down stigma around mental health and reintegration. As a dual living organ donor, I advocate for living donation awareness and policy change, championing efforts like the End Kidney Deaths Act to save more lives and protect donor rights.
Education has been key to my advocacy. I hold a Master of Arts in Human Relations from the University of Oklahoma, a Master of Social Work from Arizona State University, and I’m currently earning my Doctorate of Social Work from the University of Louisville, focused on health equity and long-term psychosocial support for living organ donors.
Today, I work for the Department of Defense, volunteer in my community, and continue to speak out through grassroots, local, and national media to inspire action. From the front lines of military service to the front lines of healthcare reform, I’m living proof that service doesn’t end with the uniform—it evolves into lifelong impact.
